Services
At Franklin Offshore, our inspection personnel conduct inspection in accordance with each client’s management systems or in compliance with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). This includes all types of cranes and other lifting equipment utilised in the oil and gas, marine and shipping, petrochemical, and construction industries.
Examinations and inspections cover fixed, portable, and loose lifting equipment in order to ensure that the unit of equipment is inspected and certified fit for use. In general inspection surveys, equipment registry and certificates are in compliance with LOLER and other international statutory regulations.
Fabrication
We complement our rigging and mooring business with our fabrication services that includes project management, engineering design, procurement, steel work, piping, E&I, testing and commissioning. With our waterfront fabrication facility this provides the competitive edge to undertake large scale projects in terms of mass and size without any technical limitation on the delivery of the finished product.

Rope Installation
We have a wealth of international experience in the installation of new ropes for new cranes. Our installation superintendents are responsible for the installation procedures – including pre-work JSA reviews. Our spooling equipment is robust and has sufficient back tension to ensure that your ropes are installed in full accordance with manufacturers’ requirements.
